Orangutans and Reforestation on Borneo, Bali Starlings

Unfortunately illegal logging and the encroachment of palm oil plantations within national park areas are continued serious threats to the ecosystem. 
 

Friends of National Parks Foundation  ( FNPF ) 
continues to work in Tanjung Puting National Park in Kalimantan, Borneo with reforestation efforts and educational programs.
 

Bali Starlings
These beautiful birds, endemic to Bali and nearly driven to extinction have been released back to the wild on Nusa Penida Island following successful breeding programs of FNPF.
